Naga richest city in Bicol Region — COA

Naga City remains to be the richest city in Bicol Region, the Commission on Audit (COA) said in a report.

According to the COA Financial Report for Local Government Units for 2017, Naga City has a total assets of P4.67 billion, while in terms of revenues, it earned P1.2 billion last year.

The richest cities in Bicol are as follows:

IN TERMS OF ASSETS

1. Naga – 4.67 billion
2. Ligao – 2.24 billion
3. Legazpi – 2.04 billion
4. Tabaco – 1.74 billion
5. Sorsogon – 1.56 billion
6. Masbate – 1.10 billion
7. Iriga – 733.6 million

IN REVENUES

1. Naga – 1.20 billion
2. Legazpi – 1.03 billion
3. Sorsogon – 791.2 million
4. Ligao – 612.2 million
5. Tabaco – 561.1 million
6. Iriga – 534.1 million
7. Masbate – 528.9 million

“Based on the 2017 COA Annual Financial Report released recently, Naga City has maintained its status as the richest city in Bicol in terms of Revenues and Assets. Congratulations to the hardworking people of our beloved City of Naga!,” said Bongat.
