Naga City bags Seal of Good Local Governance
The City of Naga has bagged Seal of Good Local Governance 2018 from the Department of Interior and Local Government.
Naga City Mayor John Bongat personally received the accolade during the awarding ceremony held in Manila Hotel.
Mayor Bongat said that the award is a proof of the city’s “excellence in governance.”
“THANK YOU DILG for this 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) which we received today, another testament of your city leadership’s commitment to excellence in governance,” Bongat said.
The outgoing mayor thanked all the people behind this success such as the “hardworking” City Hall employees.
The mayor said that they dedicate the Seal of Good Local Governance to all the Nagueños who serve as the inspiration of the city government officials.
“With City Administrator Jun Tam Mongoso, CEPPIO Head Allen Lucre Reondanga and DILG City Director Elmer Penolio at the Manila Hotel, we dedicate this award to the hardworking employees of City Hall, the Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by VM Nelson Legacion, and the proud people of Naga, who always inspire their leaders to be the best they can be!,” Bongat said.
