It’s final! Masbate VG Revil eyes congressional seat
It may took her a while to decide, but Masbate Vice Governor Kaye Revil is finally running as congresswoman.
Revil filed her certificate of candidacy yesterday during the last day of filing amid her “doubts” and “apprehensions.”
The first-term vice governor attempts to unseat incumbent Masbate 2nd district Rep. Elisa Olga Kho, wife of the incumbent Governor Antonio Kho.
“Because amidst all my doubts, fears & apprehensions, I will heed Your call. And despite all the uncertainties, love & hope must win. Faith as my guide, Your grace be by my side. I put all my trust in You. Your will be done,” Revil said.
“2nd District of Masbate, may ‘K’ ka, i-REVIL na! Sa Kongreso, Ka-ye natin 2!,” she added.
The vice governor said that the Philippine Congress needs “one that serves Very Good!!!”
“Beloved fellow Masbateños, mapabulig po gayud. God bless you all many folds,” she said.
Rep. Kho is running under the ruling party PDP-Laban.
