Calapan City holds another successful bloodletting activity
More than 400 bags of blood have been collected during the recently concluded Blood Letting Activity of the Calapan City Blood Council (CCBC).
The bloodletting activity, spearheaded by CCBC Chairman and Vice Mayor Gil Ramirez, was held at the Oriental Mindoro National High School (OMNHS) Gym last Oct. 12.
The activity was the sixth blood letting drive of the Calapan City Blood Council since it started in 2016.
It carries the theme, “Sa bawat patak ng ‘yong dugo, pandugtong ng buhay”.
Ramirez thanked all the people who made the activity a successful one as he highlighted the importance of donating blood.
Meanwhile, City Councilor Mylene de Jesus, Vice Chairman of the CCBC, said that they will continue to conduct bloodletting activities in the future.
