Rep. Umali to run as Oriental Mindoro governor
Rep. Reynaldo V. Umali will run as Oriental Mindoro governor for 2019 elections.
Umali, who is serving his last term as congressman, will run under Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and will replace his brother incumbent Governor Alfonso Umali, Jr.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) sa paggawad sa akin ng Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA) upang maging opisyal na kandidato ng ating partido sa pagka-GOBERNADOR ng Oriental Mindoro,” said Rep. Umali.
Present during the event were national officials of PFP such as Chairman Gen. Abubakar M. Mangelen (Ret.), Secretery-General Gen. Thompon C. Lantion (Ret.), and Senior Adviser Atty. John R. Castriciones.
“Tuloy-tuloy na po ang ating kampanya para sa mas maiging serbisyo para sa bawat Mindoreno,” the solon said.
Meanwhile, Calapan City Coun. Atty. Lorybelle Tanyag – Panaligan will be Rep. Umali’s Vice Governor.
Gov. Alfonso Umali, on the otherhand, will run as Oriental Mindoro’s second district representative.
Others that will run as Board Members under the Umali slate are BM Rafael Infantado, BM Paul Luna, Apollo Feraren, Atty. Gilbert Repizo and Marvin Ilagan for the 1st district, while BM Mae Arlene Talens, Ramil Dimapilis, Manny Buenaventura, Lito Camo and Judy Ann Servando for 2nd District.
