Salt not only makes food taste better, it provides a living to the people of Occidental Mindoro.

Occidental Mindoro Rep. Josephine Ramirez Sato hailed the inauguration of a salt processing plant in San Jose.

In a Facebook post, she congratulated TAMACO for aiming to be a major producer of quality salt not just in the province, but in the entire country.

She thanked USAID for supporting the endeavor, which gives a lot of the province’s people a source of livelihood.
