Naga Mayor Bongat attends night of music as part of National Family Week celebration
Naga City Mayor John Bongat attended a “night of music” which centered on family happiness and unity with Jesus Christ.
Bongat served as one of the guests during the culminating activity of Naga City’s National Family Week celebration.
The said music event was spearheaded by the Thanks to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
“ATTENDING THE NIGHT OF MUSIC ATM promoting family happiness and unity with Jesus Christ at the center of its day to day existence, the culminating activity in Naga of the National Family Week celebration,” the mayor said.
“Dubbed as “Families are Forever,” the program was a mix of inspiring musical pieces about family rendered by church members and missionaries to the delight of the enthralled and very appreciative audience,” he added.
“Thanks to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for spearheading the activity!”
The mayor noted that before fixing the bigger problems of the country, the family, which is the basic unit of society, should be fixed first.
“Before we should be thinking of fixing an ailing country, I guess it makes a lot of sense to think first of fixing our families. Because if every family is fixed, how can there be an ailing country to speak of?,” he said.
“God bless all families in our beloved country and everywhere,” said Bongat.
