CamSur gets P523.65M fund for second tranche of emergency shelter assistance
Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte announced that the province just received its budget for the second tranche of Emergency Shelter Assistance.
The Governor posted a photo of the cheque dated September 24 to belie rumors that the Capitol spent the money for some other purpose.
The second tranche of ESA funds amounts to P523.65 million to be distributed to those whose houses were damaged by typhoon Nina.
“Malinaw na malinaw po, ang cheke para sa second tranche ng Emergency Shelter Assistance na nagkakahalagang P523,650,000 ay dated SEPTEMBER 24, 2018,” he said.
Representatives from Provincial Treasurer’s Office received the budget from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office Region 5.
“Ito na po ang pinakahihintay ng ating mga kababayang nasalanta ng Nina. Agad itong ipapamahagi sa mga benepisyaryo sa oras na handa na ang mga dokumento,” Villafuerte said.
Villafuerte said that the Capitol will announce the schedule of distribution of the ESA for each municipality soon.
“Kaya huwag nang makinig sa mga nagpapakalat ng FAKE NEWS at malisyosong balita,” the governor noted.
