A Palawan Provincial Council resolution has been filed urging local government units to build Vegetables Resource Centers.

The said resolution was authored by Board Member Eduardo Modesto Rodriguez.

Under the said resolution, the vegetable seed resource center aims to provide food and agricultural security to every LGU.

“I move to embattle the malnutrition in the entire province of Palawan but we are so beset to the problems of the lack of planting materials especi!lly the vegetable field,” BM Rodriguez said.

“That’s why we are enjoining all the LGUs for the establishment of the vegetable seed resource centers so that they can effectively implement the ‘Food Always In The Home’ which is the planting of the vegetable in their backyard.”

Board Member Rodriguez just recently filed a resolution urging LGUs to have “FAITH” or “Food Always In The Home” strategy of backyard farming.

kumplementaryo sa implementasyon ng “Food Always In The Home” na backyard gardening sa bawat munisipyo,” said the provincial government.
