Occ. Mindoro Rep. Josephine Ramirez Sato seeks help from the British to preserve the environment
Occidental Mindoro Rep. Josephine Ramirez Sato will seek help from where she can for mother nature.
This time, Sato is hoping to work with the British to curb illegal wildlife trade and advance biodiversity conservation, she said on Facebook.
She met with British Ambassador to the Philippines Daniel Pruce, and discussed with him her desire to help preserve the country’s natural resources.
Pruce, in his own Twitter post, said he enjoyed talking to Sato about bio-diversity and the need to protect species and environments that are under threat. He is honoured that the politiko will join the Illegal Wildlife Trade Conference in the United Kingdom next month.
All for mother nature!
“Honoured to meet British Ambassador to the Philippines Daniel Pruce. Looking forward to future collaboration to curb illegal wildlife trade and advance biodiversity conservation. Thank you sir!” Sato posted on Facebook.
