Officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) have faced the Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan members to discuss the ongoing infrastructure projects in the province.

Present during the event were Engr. Rodolfo V. Vicquerra, Engr. Melly I. Elanga of DPWH Regional Office, and District Engineer Amelia B. Fajardo of the DPWH Ist Engineering District, Engr. Conrado Aguila Jr of the DPWH Third Engineering District, and District Engr. Alejandro M. Ventilacion

The DPWH execs were summoned to give updates on the road widening project in the province worth P33.5 billion, which is expected to be completed in 2022.

Meanwhile, District Engineer Amelia Fajardo of the First Engineering District said that contractors are facing problems regarding the supply of materials.

She also said that construction infrastructure programs in the first district worth P2.6 billion is underway. These include DepEd projects anf farm to market roads.
