Naga Vice Mayor Nelson Legacion has tasted the best langka, and he wants to spread it around.

Legacion couldn’t help but sing the praises of the jackfruit he harvested from his farm.

The fruit is sweeter, juicier, crunchier and meatier than any other jackfruit he has ever tasted, he said in a Facebook post.

But he didn’t say that just to boast. In fact, he wants to spread it around. He said some 2,000 jackfruit seedlings would be ready for planting at schools and housing sites in October and November.

Anybody who wants to grow their own delicious langka could sign up to get one, he said.

What are you waiting for?

“SWEET, JUICY, CRUNCHY & MEATY jackfruit! Harvested today from our farm a big jackfruit which is sweeter, juicier, crunchier and meatier than any other jackfruit I tasted! By October and November about 2,000 seedlings will be ready for planting at the city’s various schools and housing sites. Anyone who wants to have and plant this kind of fruit bearing tree may signify here. Dave Valiente Batac please note,” the Vice Mayor posted on Facebook.
