VP Robredo meets with farmers from Tinambac, CamSur to discuss Angat Buhay
Vice President Leni Robredo personally met with the farmers from Tinambac town in Camarines Sur to discuss her anti-poverty flagship program.
Robredo held a dialogue with the farmers for the Omasenso sa Kabuhayan project in Metro Naga, an project under her Angat Buhay Program.
The Angat Buhay is the anti-poverty flagship program of the Office of the Vice President.
Under the program, the OVP acts as the conduit between its partner agencies and communities all through out the country.
“In Tinambac, Camarines Sur today to meet with the town’s farmers and invite them to join our Omasenso sa Kabuhayan project in Metro Naga, an #AngatBuhay initiative that aims to help farmers become agri-entrepreneurs, by linking them directly to markets,” Robredo said.
The Vice President said that thru theis project, the farmers would also become an entrepreneurs to make their livelihood more sustainable.
“With this, we hope they can make their livelihood more sustainable, and ensure food security in the area,” the Vice President.
“Grateful for the warm welcome, and I look forward to working with our farmers in this endeavor,” she added.
