The Palawan provincial council has passed a resolution asking the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to put road signage for their projects.

The resolution, authored by Board Member Marivic Roxas, mandates the DPWH to put signage bearing the contract information, name of the project, target date of completion and the total budget of the project for transparency.

Roxas said that the DPWH has a lot projects but bear no signage indicating key information.

The resolution will be forwarded to the DPWH through District Engineer (DE) Amelia B. Fajardo of Palawan I District Engineering Office, DE Alejandro M. Ventilacion of Palawan II District Engineering Office, and DE Rommel P. Aguirre of Palawan III District Engineering Office.

“Suportado ng mga board members ang panukalang resolusyon at sa dakong huli ay nagkaisa ang lahat na maging co-authors ng naturang panukala,” said the province.
