This could be the future! Oriental Mindoro Rep. Rey Umali wants his province mates to learn fish deboning

It’s a skill not many people know or learn, so why not specialize in it?

This is what Oriental Mindoro Rep. Rey Umali has in mind as he suggested that people in his province learn fish deboning.

Umali noted that residents of Sitio Cuta, Brgy. Anilao, Bongabong had been trained in this in the past.

But in the province, very few actually do it and Oriental Mindoro even sources boneless fish from another area, he said.

But if the people of Oriental Mindoro learn the skill, they could turn it into a living. They would have few competition since not many people do this.

Who knows? Oriental Mindoro could even become a major distributor of boneless fish, Umali said.

This could be the future!
