Tourists are very much welcome to enjoy the beauty of Oriental Mindoro, but they must take with them more than beautiful memories from their visit.

When they leave, they should also take away their trash or put these in its proper place, according to Oriental Mindoro Rep. Rey Umali.

Umali appealed to the visitors to keep the province clean as he shared that the recent cleanup of Mt. Halcon collected 8 sacks of trash.

He said that while Oriental Mindoro residents love to have other people over, they don’t want their home province being sullied.

They love the province, and they would do everything to keep it beautiful!
