“Yehey, two of the bills I principally authored and one I co-authored are now signed into law,” said Boatcabe.
“First, the Electric Cooperative Emergency and Resiliency Fund Law is a fulfillment of a campaign promise whereby the government should have standby funds to repair elctric posts and distributionl lines damaged by natural calamities instead of passing the costs to the consumers kaya tumataas kuryente namin sa Bicol,” he said.
“Second, I principally authored the Expanded NIPAS Act which institutionalizes the establishment, with sufficient funding, of natural parks around the country just like those in enviromentally progressive countries. Batocabe also said that the National Feeding Program is “akin to the Nutribun” during his younger years but this time, it is “more comprehensive.”
