The “Orientation on the Creation and Strengthening of Local Culture and Arts Councils Cultural Development Planning” was held yesterday at the Victoriano J. Hall, Palawan Capitol.
“Ang buong araw na aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni G. Caesar Sammy Magbanua, chief of staff ng Gobernador at tumatayong Program Manager ng Palawan Culture and Arts Program ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan,” the province said.
Preseent during the event were National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) Executive Director Rico S. Pableo, Jr., Urbana Besinga-Cadiz, planning officer III and Resil F. Solis, procurement section head of the NCCA.
Also present were the representatives and officers of tourism and arts councils from the various local governments in Palawan.
It was also agreed that the culture and arts council which will be formed will hold annual meeting for its developmental planning.
