Tourism partners? Puerto Princesa Mayor Nancy Socrates tours Naujan, Or. Mindoro
Puerto Princesa is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, and its Vice Mayor Nancy Socrates might just lend a helping hand to develop tourism in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
Socrates visited Naujan on official business and got the chance to see Lake Naujan, which she said has a potential to be a tourist destination.
There are also other spots there that could be developed to attract visitors, she said. Another point of interest is the fact that it is the rice granary of Mindoro.
She raised the possibility of setting up a tourism circuit through a direct journey from Puerto Princesa to Mindoro.
This would make it easy for tourists to hop from one area to another. Given the many visitors that flock to Puerto Princesa, this would surely benefit Naujan.
Looks like the vice mayor had a productive visit!
“During our official business in the municipality of Naujan Oriental Mindoro, thank you for the warm welcome of the Municipal Mayor and the Vice Mayor.
And for bringing us to the beautiful lake naujan, which has potential for tourists.
Add to that is their expertise in the field of agriculture, which now dubbed naujan as the rice granary of the province of Mindoro.
There are more potential spots that naujan could develop for tourism.
We hope for a tourism circuit someday and a direct journey via sea transportation from Puerto Princesa to Mindoro and vice versa.
Thank you Naujeños!,” she posted.
