Calapan Mayor Panaligan inspects P9M road reconstruction project
Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan usually spends his Sundays inspecting the constructions of the infrastructure projects of the City Government.
Yesterday, the mayor inspected “one of the major city infrastructure projects” of the City Government for this year.
Mayor Panaligan share a photo of the “complete reconstruction of Infantado Street from corner Encarnacion St. in Camilmil, Blocks 1 to 6 of Sta. Maria Village up to corner Morente-Infantado St. in San Vicente South including Drainage and Sidewalk Pavement Construction.”
The mayor said that the project was fully funded by the city government costing them a total of P9 million.
He said that the road showed cracks, causing flooding during rainy season because of the lack of drainage system.
“The existing road has many cracks and easily gets flooded during heavy rains because of lack of proper drainage. Project cost is Php 9 million,” said Panaligan.
