Oriental Mindoro Rep. Reynaldo V. Umali felt elated with the report that his home turf is one of the top provinces in the country that were able to trim down poverty incidence rate.

In a report by Inquirer, Oriental Mindoro ranked fourth in the list of provinces that registered largest fall in poverty incidence from 2006 to 2015, just behind Tawi-tawi, Aklan, and Antique.

Umali said.

The solon said that his programs are mostly centered on poverty alleviation, education, and livelihood programs.

Umali also asked Mindoreños to work hand in hand to further develop the province.

“Sama-sama po tayong magtulungan para sa ikauunlad ng ating lalawigan at ng ating inang bayan!,” he said.
