Over 4,400 families in Milaor, Camaligan towns in CamSur get emergency shelter aid from national gov’t
More than 4,400 families in Milaor and Camaligan towns in Camarines Sur have received Emergency Shelter Assistance from the national government.
Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte led the distribution to the beneficiaries in the said towns.
In Milaor, a total of 2,598 families received the emergency assistance. Moreover, 1,832 families in Camaligan got their ESA.
Overall, 4,430 families have benefited from the aid from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
“A total of 2,598 families in Milaor benefitted from the Emergency Shelter Assistance program of Pres. Duterte and the DSWD,” said the province.
The Province of CamSur said that Rep. LRay Villafuerte’s “consistent” follow-ups made the assistance program possible.
“The joint efforts of the Milaor MSWD & the Capitol in verifying and documenting affected families and Cong. Lray Villafuerte’s consistent follow ups on the national level made all these possible,” said the province.
“Sa pagtutulungan ng DSWD, MSWD ng Bayan ng Camaligan, at ng Kapitolyo ay 1,832 na pamilya ang nakatanggap ng Emergency Shelter Assistance,” the province said in another post.
