Naga City employees undergo values orientation workshop
The city government employees of Naga recently attended a three-day Values Orientation Workshop in a bid to achieve better office services and delivery of output.
The said workshop was spearheaded by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), led by Acting HRMO Head Mr. Francisco M. Mendoza at the Blue Room last April 11.
“Employees were invited to attend the workshop, as well as the department heads , so that they would know, develop and nurture their staff’s personal values which are the main purpose of the workshop,” the city said.
Mayor John Bongat also graced the workshop.
Cherrylou L. Lara, the Administrative Officer V of the Civil Service Commission ROV, started the orientation with a “kamustahan.”
“In the given three days, three modules— Pagkatao, Pagkakalikasan and Pagka-tagapaglingkod— will be presented one module per day,” the city said.
Every day, a different subject matter specialist handled the said orientation.
“Congratulating and coaching employees for whatever good thing they do could help boost their morale and could be motivated to do much better the next day,” said the city.
With the workshop, the HRMO is hoping for a “better office services and delivery of output in offer by the city hall employees.”
