Sipag! Calapan Mayor Panaligan works beyond office hours to tackle city’s key projects

Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan and other officials worked overtime last night to discuss the city’s key development projects.

Panaligan convened the meeting at his residence from 9 pm to 12 midnight.

The mayor came from a long travel from the southern part of Oriental Mindoro for the inauguration of Lisap Bridge in Bongabong attended by President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Working up to almost 12 midnight – after a long journey from the south of the province for the inauguration of Lisap Bridge in Bongabong attended by President Rodrigo Duterte,” Panaligan said.

“I had to convene a meeting of key department heads and staff at my residence from 9:00 pm to almost 12:00 midnight to discuss and resolve matters pertaining to priority development projects,” he added.

Those who worked well beyond office hours were City Administrator Atty. Adel C. Abas, Acting City Planning and Development Officer EnP Joey Benter, also the City Trade and Industry Officer, Engr. Jojo Reyes, City Housing and Urban Settlements Officer and Program Manager for Priority Infrastructure Projects, City Architect Elmer Villas, City Accountant Edgardo Basilan, City General Services Officer Policarpio Edmund Abas, Bids and Awards Committee secretariat head Rommel Masongsong, Supervising Administrative Officer Josef Elvin Campos and Executive Assistants Joy Manibo and Rolando Jumig.

Duterte led the inauguration of Lisap bridge, the longest bridge in Oriental Mindoro.
