What’s God’s most beautiful creation?
It’s the women, if you ask Masbate City Councilor Rosemarie Verano Salvacion.
For women’s month, Salvacion paid tribute to the stellar qualities of the female sex. They are soft yet strong, and are able to bear so much pain, she said.
They deserve to be treated with respect and to be loved, she added.
She delivered this message as the city kicked off its celebration for the special month, including a seminar on women’s rights, medical concerns, and psychological and spiritual health.
Also scheduled is a “Walk with Heels for Women’s Heroism” to benefit solo parents.
The activities are the initiative of Vice Mayor Ruby Sanchez Morano, backed by Mayor Rowena Tuason, according to the Masbate City Government.
No wonder Masbate knows the value of women. It has a several, strong women leaders!

A three-day seminar (March 21-23) on women’s rights, medical state, psychological and spiritual health. Venue is at the Legislative Office.2. A Walk with Heels for Women’s Heroism: Lakat ni Manoy para kan Manay. This is a kick-off activity before the start of the three-day seminar.
A P20 registration from the participants will be collected and the same shall be endorsed to the Solo Parents Association.
