Ilokano para sa Bikolano: Imee Marcos visits evacuees in Albay

Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos has visited the province of Albay to visit the evacuees affected by the Mayon unrest.

Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara personally welcomed Marcos together with the Cabinet Spouses Association Inc. upon their arrival in Legazpi Airport yesterday.

Marcos also provided “fresh vegetables” to the evacuees in Sto.Domingo before their decampment.

Marcos hopes that donations and assistance continue to pour in for the province amid “unpredictable” activites of the volcano.

The alert status of Mayon has been lowered to Alert Level 3 yesterday.

Bichara gave Marcos an update regarding the status of Mt.Mayon.

Kaya tatambay tambay muna ako dito sa Albay baka sakaling safe tayo dito lagi,” she expressed.

The Cabinet Spouses Association Inc. also provided the evacuees with relief goods.

“Governor Al Francis Bichara thanked them for all of the support and sent regards to their husbands,” the province said.
