Masbate provincial council to propose almost P6B road projects to RDC, VG Revil says
Almost P6 billion worth of road projects in the second district of Masbate is up for recommendation by the Provincial Board to the Regional Development Council (RDC), Vice Govenor Kaye Revil said.
The Masbate Vice Governor shared the good news in her Facebook account. Revil also said that she will prioritize the recommendation of the projects as the presiding officer of the provincial council.
“Sa mga report po na mga lubak lubak na kalsada sa aton probinsya, good news po. 5.9B DPWH proposed road projects for the 2nd Legislative District of Masbate for 2019 is up for recommendation by the Provincial Council to the Regional Development Council,” Revil shared.
“As your Presiding Officer in the Provincial Council, your VG Kaye Revil will prioritize this accordingly & have it calendared for the next session,” she added.
The Vice Governor hopes that all of the recommendations will be approved a d be included in the 2019 General Appropriations Act.
“Hoping that all these recommendations will be approved in the 2019 GAA. Looking forward too for those from the 1st & 2nd legislative districts,” she said.
Moreover, Revil also said that Masbate is compliant for Seal of Good Local Governance in two specific areas: Tourism and Disaster Risk Reduction.
“I’m really proud about this because your VG Kaye Revil is really passionate with these advocacies. As for the other areas in order for us to achieve the SGLG award, the Provincial Government under the leadership of Gov. Antonio Kho will be up to the challenge of meeting the necessary qualifications,” she said.
