Nag aapoy sa galit? Masbate Vice Gov. Kaye Revil mourns loss of fire trees she planted

Feb 26, 2018 @ 13:55

Masbate Vice Gov. Kaye Revil cannot understand why the fire trees she planted and nurtured at the province’s social center were uprooted and trashed.

Without any clear explanation coming her way, Revil gave vent to her frustration on Facebook, where, in another post, she was inspired to write a poem about the trees.

Responding to comments on her post, the Vice Governor said she learned that the one in charge of the social center ordered the uprooting. He could have been acting on orders from higher ups or decided on his own to do it, and she hopes it was the latter, she said.

Whatever the reason, she is heartbroken about not even being given the chance to at least relocate the trees with its vermillion leaves to another area.

The trees didn’t need to die a senseless death!

“Universe, why were the fire trees we planted removed from the social center?” she posted on Facebook.
