Walang sawa sa kasinungalingan! VP Robredo exposes another fake news article about supposed cheating in polls
Vice President Leni Robredo is warning netizens against falling prey to another blatantly false article about supposed cheating in the 2016 elections— and she has receipts to prove it.
On Facebook, Robredo shared a screencap of a post carrying an article from the dutertelegacy.com site, which claimed that two Comelec programmers were nabbed for destroying the memory cards that supposedly formed part of the evidence of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who is protesting his loss.
The article was accompanied by a photo of PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa with the two men.
But another screencap shared by Robredo showed that the photo was taken in December 2016 when the police chief confronted two suspects in the planting of an explosive near the US embassy.
The Vice President described the false article as a “cheap, desperate attempt.”
She vowed no let up in exposing these kinds of fake news.
“Another fake news.Allegedly, these two men are programmers and former Comelec empoyees who were arrested for destroying the SD cards which would have been BBM’s evidences (sigh )Another cheap, desperate attempt.Let’s be more proactive in unmasking them this time,” she posted.
