For Valentine’s Day, Naga Mayor Bongat issues dress code for city hall employees

In lieu of the Valentine’s Day, Naga City Mayor John Bongat has directed city hall employees and officials to wear the color of their hearts.

In a memorandum circular issued by the mayor today, February 13, the following dress code for Valentine’s Day should be followed:

• Red – Taken

• Black – Taken for granted

• Pink – Strike everywhere

• Green – Solo for Life

• White – Like a virgin

• Brown – Pusong bato

• Gray – Tuliro

• Blue – Ang padangat ko, may padangat man (Ang mahal ko, may mahal na iba)

• Yellow – Waiting since birth

• Orange – Nakagulpi na!

• Polka dots – Nagulpi na!

• Stripes – Low bat

“SINCE IT’S VALENTINE’S DAY TOMORROW, I issued this directive to my co-employees in City Hall. Please be guided accordingly!,” Mayor Bongat said.

According to the memorandum, the said directive is just for “fun.”
