Tinambac, CamSur gathers PWDs for 11th General Assembly of Persons with Disability celebration

The local government of Tinambac, Camarines Sur has gathered almost a thousand persons with disabilities in the municipality in support of the 11th General Assembly of Persons with Disability celebration.

The said celebration in Tinambac town was in partnership with the provincial government of Camarines Sur.

With the theme “Karapatan ng may Kapansanan, isakatuparan. Now na!,” PWDs get food packs and other medical services from the provincial and local governments.

Tinambac Munucipal Councilo Bobot Prades said that the gathering aims to make PWDs feel loved and to show them that they are part of the community.

The province of Camarines Sur said that around 1,000 PDWs from all of the 44 barangays in Tinambac attended the gathering.

“The Local Government Unit of Tinambac with the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur support the 11th General Assembly of Persons with Disability celebration at Tinambac Sports Complex.💕 With the theme, “Karapatan ng may Kapansanan, isakatuparan. Now na!” almost 1,000 persons with disabilities (PWDs) of the 44 barangays in Tinambac received foodpacks and availed of medical check-ups,” the province said.

“This assembly is not just to gather the PWDs in Tinambac, but also to make us, the PWDs, feel that we belong and we are loved despite our condition,” Prades was quoted as saying.
