Palawan’s health office offers Vehicle Revolving Fund program for qualified health workers
The Provincial Government of Palawan, through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), continues to offer the Vehicle Revolving Fund Program for the province’s qualified health workers.
Elvie R. Lao, Sanitary Inspector II and program manager of Vehicle Revolving Fund Program, said that the project aims to give opportunity for qualified health workers to have a stable means of transportation.
Lao said that the program was first realized through the Integrated Community Health Services Project (ICHSP) of the Department of Health (DOH) in 2005.
Currently, 23 motorcycle units have already been distributed to qualified health workers from towns of Dumaran, Araceli, Cuyo, Magsaysay at Linapacan.
