A 50-kilometer road from Barangay Pag -asa, Sablayan to Victoria, Oriental Mindoro currently being constructed is seen to benefit the Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities.

Leaders of the province recently visited the on going construction, where the IPs have personally expressed gratitude to the provincial government.

“Sa ginawang pagbisita ng Vice Gov. Peter De Jesus Alfaro, Gov. Gene Jaro Mendiola, Cong. Sato,” said the provincial government.

When the road is completed, the transportation of products and produce will become much faster and easier, the province said.

The Department of Public Works and Highways is currently constructing the road.
