CamSur provincial gov’t distributes relief goods to Urduja-affected residents

The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur has distributed relief goods to residents who have been affected by the Tropical Storm Urduja.

The province said that as early as Sunday, the Capitol has already started providing relief goods to 4,4000 families in various local government units in the province and vowed to distribute more to all affected areas.

“Agad namahagi ng relief goods ang Gobyerno Probinsyal ng Camarines Sur sa mga komunidad na naapektuhan nni bagyong Urduja. Noong linggo pa lang, mahigit 4,400 pamilya na ang nabigyan ng relief goods sa mga munisipyo ng Balatan, Sagñay, Tigaon, at Presentacion,” the province said.

“120 pamilya naman kahapon ang nabigyan ng emergency shelter assistance, 37 water pumps at 500 na banhi sa Libmanan, Camarines Sur.Patuloy pa rin ang pamimigay tulong ng gobyerno probinsyal sa mga lugar ng San Fernando, Sagñay, at Presentacion ngayon,” it added.

The provincial government said that 740 relief goods will be distributed to Sagnay, 861 to San Fernando town and 4,167 to Presentacion.

“Sisikapin pang matulungan ng Gobyerno Probinsyal ang mga natitirang napinsalang lugar ng bagyong Urduja,” the province said.

The Camarines Sur recorded zero casualty during the onslaught of Tropical Storm Urduja this weekend.
