Leachon brothers team up to get to the bottom of the Dengvaxia controversy
Oriental Mindoro Rep. Doy Leachon and his brother, health advocate Dr. Tony Leachon, are two of the forces getting to the bottom of the controversy over the government’s P3.5 billion Dengvaxia vaccine program.
The vaccination program created a stir after its manufacturer, Sanofi, disclosed that Dengvaxia could cause severe symptoms on those who have not contracted dengue before.
Rep. Doy is part of the House committee looking into the issue, while Dr. Tony is a resource person on the matter.
Mikan Leachon shared a photo of the two brothers before the House hearing on the issue.
“Leachon brothers. Pride of #OrientalMindoro #ParaSaBayan 🇵🇭Committee on GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY jt. w/ HEALTH
