After ‘challenging’ travel, Migz Villafuerte vows to build concrete roads for far-flung barangay
Camarines Sur Governor Migz Villafuerte vowed to provide concrete roads going to a far-flung barangay in his province.
The young governor experienced first hand how hard it was to travel to Brgy. Calampinay, Sipocot as he committed to provide better infrastructure projects for the residents.
“Our journey to Calampinay, Sipocot was quite challenging as we had to traverse a very rocky shoreline during low tide just to get to this far-flung barangay,” he said.
“That is why we committed a concrete road going to Calampinay for better accesibility and for the safety of the residents,” Villafuerte said.
He also said that it was the first time that a governor came to visit Brgy. Calampinay.
“Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay nadalaw ng isang Gobernador ang Bgy. Calampinay, Sipocot kaya naman napakainit na pagtanggap ang sinalubong sa amin ng mga residente,” Villafuerte recalled.
