NFA hears it from angry Albay solon Salceda

Suffice is to say that Albay 2nd district Rep. Joey Salceda isn’t too happy about the National Food Authority’s (NFA) latest move.

The solon took to Facebook to slam the agency for its decision to stop rice distribution in Bicol markets due because of the ongoing supply shortage. Salceda called it “totally unacceptable.”

“Given the insular economic geography with 300kms of emptiness between the trading mkt of Quezon and Sipocot Camsur, this incompetence that led to the low stocking of 3 days inventory and equally incompetent response of halting distribution instead of announcing and executing emergency procurement will just result in the same outcome with higher prices thus less access thus more hunger,” he said in reaction to this news link.

Seriously, what’s wrong with you NFA?
