Thanks, honey! CamSur Gov Villafuerte taps bees in livelihood project

May 2, 2017 @ 14:10

Here’s a sweet gesture from Camarines Sur Governor Migz Villafuerte.

The young politiko has recently awarded honey bee colonies to residents of Barangay Old Caaluan in the town of Tinambac as part of a unique livelihood program.

“This pilot livelihood program aims to provide the recipient families and the community with extra income by selling the products and byproducts of honey bee production such as pure and raw honey, beeswax candle, raw materials for soap production, and many more,” Gov Migz explained.

We bet this move left the local folk buzzing with activity.
