Malayo pa pinanggalingan: Albay Gov Bichara thankful of P1-M typhoon aid from Davao

The City Government of Davao under Mayor Sara Duterte has donated P1.3 million to the typhoon “Nina” stricken Provincial Government of Albay.
Governor Al Francis Bichara received the money on Friday, December 30 in a simple ceremony.
“The Provincial Government of Albay is grateful to Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, the Sangguniang Panlunsod, and all Dabawenyos for helping Albay after Typhoon Nina left the province in dire need of relief assistance,” read this post from the politiko’s Facebook page.
“It is in tough times that we find support from our ally. Daghang salamat, Dabaw!” the post further read.
Albay is also expecting today, December 31 the arrival of some 5,000 packs of relief goods, also from Davao.
Mayor Duterte is the eldest daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Nina (international name Nock Ten) battered the Bicol region last week, with Albay receiving the brunt of its fury.
