Andaya confident AFP, PNP members will get combat incentives
Combat duty allowances are coming for qualified soldiers and cops.
Camarines Sur 1st district Rep. Rolando Andaya had this to say even as he reminded the government to implement President Rodrigo Duterte’s Executive Order No. 3 , which took effect last September 1.
The EO raises to P3,000 per month the “Combat Duty Pay” of the officers and enlisted personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
On top of this, the EO grants a daily “Combat Incentive Pay” of P300 to uniformed personnel “who figure directly in actual combat against members of various insurgent, terrorist and lawless elements”.
Apparently, these incentive haven’t been fully disbursed yet.
In his appeal, Andaya remained confident “that soldiers and policemen who’ve been to dangerous missions and combats and are entitled to new combat pay would get theirs soon.”
“ Yung hindi pa nakatanggap , walang duda na parating na ‘yan. Meron lang siguro mga dokumento na kailangan isubmit ang HQ batay na rin sa guidelines ng EO,” added Andaya , who is a Deputy Speaker in the 17th Congress.
“Para hindi sumablay sa Commission on Audit, may lista na dapat i-validate . And these reports will be coming from the field, “ he said.
