Gabriel Bordado Jr. owes public service career to Jesse

For Camarines Sur 2nd district Gabriel Bordado Jr., there’s only one man whom he owes his journey in the “House of the People” to.

That man is the late Interior secretary and Naga City mayor Jesse Robredo, who Gabriel paid tribute to on this Facebook post.

“4TH JESSE M. ROBREDO DAY: I’ve gone a long way, Sec! DIYOS MABALOS,” the congressman wrote. It’s been four years since Jesse died in a plane crash off Masbate.

Incidentally, Gabriel’s predecessor from the district is Jesse’s widow, Leni Robredo, the current vice president.

The House politiko was Jesse’s longtime vice mayor in Naga.
